This is my favorite tool to use to create a little “cute” effect to a blog post or an image. I’ll often put a little badge or tagline at the top of a post or image. Then I’ll write the title in small but bold letters underneath, and I’ll use the “pretty” font in my browser to make the text larger.
I really like this trick, because it means that Ill don’t have to rely so much on my image editing skills to get a really pop and attractive effect. It can also work for non-image posts.
It’s not just badges that can be put in there. You can also put any of these things, as long as they’re non-essential. For example, if you have a picture of a pet that you want to use as a tagline, you can use a picture of my cat for that.
The idea is to use a picture with a tagline or title, but then to make the tagline or title a little bigger. For example, if you have a picture of something you could use as a tagline, you could say “I’m the new editor at the new company. I’m looking for new job. Have to apply by the end of the month.
This is a good way to think about it. One of the things that makes a badge or tagline a good idea is that it is not a requirement of your life. If you really wanted to, you could just use a picture of a pet. But if you don’t want to or you don’t think you’d look good putting up a picture of a pet, there’s a way around that.
The obvious one is to just use words like “job” and “new” in the title.
A good badge or tagline is one that can be used for a variety of things. A badge that says, “I work for this company” is one thing. We’d really like to see a badge that says I am a boss because of this company so we can say, “I also work at this company because I am the boss.” I think the biggest problem with these “boss badges” is that they are all the same words with different meanings. It’s like the boss of the company you work for, only because of this company. I’d also like to see a badge that says I work at this company because I am the boss.
