Small Business Expo was a regional trade show that ran in Chicago from the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s. It was held under the auspices of the American Small Business Association (ASBA). The show was held in the city of Chicago and also included an exposition of around fifty of the world’s largest and most innovative companies.
Small Business Expo was all about “getting your business right,” but the show’s expo was more than that. There were booths of products and services for both home and business owners. One booth was a tiny little place called the Small Business Showroom, where small business owners would show off their wares.
There were several small business owners who had done business in Chicago, including Steve T. Tousley, a real estate broker, and Joe Hill, a former executive producer. It was a great show and a great place to show off your wares.
It’s a great time to show off your wares. If you know anyone who is looking to start a small business, this is a great place to go to as well.
I’m not sure what it is, but I’ve always wanted to show off my wares. I remember going to a bunch of the big shows that were going on at the time and the staff were all in the room. So you just have to stand in front of the room, and when you see someone looking at you, you know what they’re looking at. And then when they see you, they’re like, “That’s great.” They’re really into that.
I know you had some ideas, but they weren’t really on the team. It was just a group of people that were talking about a good deal more than anything. Like, I’ll take a big bite out of this one for sure.
A lot of the shows that were on at the time were geared toward a certain audience so they did a pretty good job of catering to the type of people that would be on there. But of course, most of the people who were in the room had no idea what was going on because everyone was looking at a wall or something. It was a very small group of people that I would say had some knowledge of what was going on.
The smaller attendees did seem to be mostly in the minority so it may just be an offshoot of the big show. But I also think the show was a lot more successful in getting the small business owners involved. The show was in a hotel in downtown Chicago so it was right in front of the convention center and they had a couple of outdoor areas so they had an easy way to get people out to the area. I think that probably helped the show a lot.
I am a pretty big fan of Chicago Small Business Expo, but I would have to say that the show itself was pretty successful. It was a lot more free of the big corporate chains, so there was a lot more room to be creative. Even when compared to the big convention centers that I have attended, this was a nice change. There were more vendors and booths and I think the vendors were a lot more creative. There were a lot more exhibitors in general.
I am amazed by how much they could do from the outside. It isn’t that the show didn’t do anything, it just felt more private. The only big problem that I have with the expo is that I have to go to the Chicago Airport after the show to pick up my tickets, so I don’t really know if that bothered anyone.
